For more than half the time Yu-Gi-Oh! cards have been distributed in the TCG, there has been a tenacious little group of translators and journalists you’ve all come to know as the Yugi-Organization, or, YGOrg.
Each year I try to make a little post on this day, typically announcing the launch of a new product like Yugipedia.com back in 2018, or at least give some light to the coming plans.
Over this past year we’ve seen YGOrg return to my ownership from our friends at GGRecon, the launch of our new site at https://spellbook.life and the debut of our yugioh passport system.
I don’t want to make too long winded a post this time around or take too much of anyones time so I’ll just get right to it.
We are still in the process of migrating YGOrganization off of the skin GGRecon put us on, but more than just a new skin, we’re developing a new infrastructure free from WordPress which is why it’s taking so long. This new site will use the passport system for its comment section. You can still sign up for passport using the spellbook website linked above to reserve your username ahead of time.
We are also upgrading our MediaWiki software so that yugipedia will stop lagging or showing 502 errors. We know these are happening and are doing everything we can to fix it as soon as possible.
Most importantly, there are a few dozen new features releasing over the next year for the Yugioh Passport but most importantly, will be a new Dueling Simulator you can play in your browser. More on this in a later post.
Looking forward to showing specifics over the coming months. Thanks for being a reader for so long.

And as always you can find us on facebook, twitter, bsky, etc at the typical ygorganization account, or visit us at https://discord.gg/theorganization to join our discord server. We’re also on patreon at patreon.com/yugioh
