The true value of this card lays in combos.
You can make unique moves using the card by sending a single desired card to the Graveyard, as many decks make their combos by taking advantage of the Graveyard! And the card sent to the Graveyard doesn’t have to be just a monster, it can also be a Spell or Trap Card, whose effects can activate in the Graveyard, “Gem-Knight Fusion” and “Breakthrough Skill“, which can lead to all sorts of combos.

Also, its effect to put a monster on top of your Deck is pretty strong, and can serve as support which gives you a way to let you add a monster to the hand that can turn things around!

This Card Is Outstanding With Decks That Use The Graveyard!
This card is commonly used in any Deck that makes use of the Graveyard in tournaments, but it was also used in more than half of the top-ranking Decks at the “Yu-Gi-Oh!
