New Card News! “Qliphort Alias” (Included in SECE)

“Qliphorts” get stronger! They now have a new tactic that lets return a card back to the hand without letting the opponent chain in response! “Qliphort Alias”, a new card for the Qliphort Series comes in “The Secret of Evolution” (SECE) which comes out November 15th, 2014!

Its Effect To Return 1 Card On The Field To The Hand Is Super Strong!

Of course it can return powerful opponent monsters back to the hand (or Extra Deck), but it can also return Spells and Traps back to the hand, it’s not limited to just monsters!

Also, you can target your own cards, and one of the strong points of such a move is returning your own cards in the Pendulum Zone back to your hand! You can reuse the Pendulum Effect of “Qliphort Tool“, evade the Pendulum Effect of “Qliphort” monsters that prevents you from Special Summoning anything but “Qliphort” monsters, and let you light the way for an Xyz Summon !

Also, you can unleash a powerful combo that sweeps away the opponent’s field if you Tribute “Qliphort Carrier” and/or “Qliphort Helix“!
How? The 4th effects of “Qliphort Carrier“, “Qliphort Helix” and “Qliphort Alias”. You can activate the optional “if” effects in whatever order you desire in a chain, but make sure the effect of “Qliphort Alias” is the last one that activates!
Since your opponent cannot activate the effects of Spells, Traps or Monsters in response to the 4th effect of “Qliphort Alias”, they can’t chain “Fiendish Chain” or “Effect Veiler” to negate the effect, and effects like “Bottomless Trap Hole” and “Torrential Tribute” can’t be activated when it’s Summoned!
By the way, if you chain the 4th effect of “Qliphort Helix“, you can activate a combo with “Qliphort Alias”, as the effect of “Qliphort Helix” in this case will allow you to destroy your opponent’s Spell or Trap Card without being chained to!

This is a powerful “Qliphort” Combo that starts by Tribute Summoning “Qliphort Alias”!!!
