Strategic Summary:

Hailing from the GX era, this EARTH Machine archetype aims to break the opponent in half with its powerful Fusion monsters that turn off your opponent’s ability to respond to attacks. Over time, they have also gained additional protection, such as Ancient Gear Fortress, preventing your opponent from responding to their effects either. Today’s build features the mightiest the Ancient Gears bring, from Chaos Ancient Gear Giant, the theme’s ultimate beast mode monster, to Ancient Gear Megaton Golem, which can be summoned with one less material but floats into Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem. Either way, you need strong fusion options, so while Ancient Gear Fusion is searchable, the new TCG Premiere fusion spell, Greater Polymerization, offers even more protection to your boss monsters, ensuring that you will have game-ending damage as soon as your boss hits the field. As a bonus, if you only have 3 monsters and need to fuse Ancient Gear Megaton Golem, you can still grant it piercing! Finally, I also use a small Deskbot Pendulum engine to fuel both of Ancient Gear Ballista‘s effects, as well as synergize with the self-destruction aspect of the Ancient Gear archetype.
