Welcome back for another Creative Deck Profile, and today I’m featuring the new Dragon Rulers once again to celebrate the arrival of ALIN to the TCG. Since that build, not much has changed with my approach to the new Dragon Ruler cards… except for discovering just how well they function alongside D.D. Post and Dimensional Fissure! You see, Dragon Rulers typically wouldn’t want to be banished, but if you can use the baby Dragon Rulers to summon the big ones while searching… yup, it works out great. I’m only running a few other supporting Dragons, but the biggest non-ruler engine is the Materiactor!

This theme of Dragon monsters with various Attributes also loves to Xyz Summon, but their newer waves of support have truly set this theme apart as one of my favorites. You see, any two Level 3 monsters can turn into Materiactor Exagard, which can then tutor a Materiactor from your deck. Combine Exagard with Materiactor Meltdown and other Xyz Monsters, and you’ll be able to start adding the card(s) of your choice to hand, especially after factoring in the draw from Prima Materiactor. At the end of the day, my best short description of the deck is easy: Here There Be Dragons!
