Strategic Summary:
The Meldious archetype has finally arrived to the stage after a request for an encore. This LIGHT/Fairy Fusion theme uses the power of Special Summons to gain advantage, then convert that into either stalling or going hard for game damage. Whether it is Soprano the Melodious Songstress or Shopina the Melodious Maestra recovering a Melodious from the GY or Tamtam the Melodious Diva tutoring a Polymerization, your musical notes will leave opponents deafened. However, Melodious duels of the past had to exclusively rely on their lock of Elegy the Melodious Diva and Aria the Melodious Diva, preventing destruction by battle or effects and preventing targeting. My build goes the opposite direction, focusing on going hard with card advantage. Nowadays, you can use Bloom Harmonist the Melodious Composer, their recent Link 2, to summon for advantage instead of stalling, grabbing anything you need straight from the deck. If you have Eva in advance of that summon, you can even discard it to gain a Herald of Orange Light or Herald of Green Light for a negate of your choosing and/or a Score the Melodious Diva for a battle trick! Defeat your opponents with this elegant chorus of angels.
