The Rose Dragon archetype is a set of Dragon-type monsters specifically designed to support Plant type monsters and Synchro Summoning, as when the two are combined, beautiful displays of power and elegance shine forth. Garden Rose Maiden ensures access to Black Garden, and with so many key monsters having a multiple of 800 ATK, this gives you even more copies of a pseudo-Monster Reborn at your fingertips. But don’t forget that it also serves as a great recovery tool, especially if your strong Dragons such as Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon should ever fall to the GY. My take on this strategy also engages the help of Junk Synchron and Junk Converter, as the combination gives your tuner-heavy lineup a way to kickstart plays and utilize rough hands. Don’t count out the flower power of a few Rose Dragons, because all roses can have deadly thorns.
