The TCG has stated that noticed changes to Round Time/End of Match procedures for Official Tournament Store Championships and Regional Qualifiers were posted in error.

The current English FAQ has been corrected.

The stated changes to Round Time/End of Match procedure are intended to apply only to the World Championship being held in Paris, France this year, and the event commentators will be discussing it more in detail.

However, they do note these changes are intended to become policy for all TCG events going forward at a later date after the World Championship.

As an editorial note, this ‘double loss’ Round Time/End of Match procedure would put the TCG more in line with current Official Card Game policy regarding Round Time/End of Match.
