Optional Cards (for lack of a better) is cards that need to go along with a Required Card (usually), but you can pick from a list to aim for certain directions. (Such as for Yami Yugi they mention, you need to picks two cards from “Illusion Magic”, “Dark Magic Curtain”, “Dark Magic Attack”, “Thousand Knives” or “Slifer the Sky Dragon”)
