The Japanese text for Gandora-X the Dragon of Demolition in Master Duel has been updated. It now matches its TCG counterpart, only counting the Original ATK of the monsters and dealing damage accordingly. This is primarily relevant because this card was used in a number of FTK/OTK Decks, where you would increase the current ATK of a monster, destroy it with Gandora, and then inflict much higher damage than the original ATK of that monster. More notably, the TCG version of this card always referenced the Original ATK, so this strategy was limited to the OCG only.

Nothing else regarding the availability of the card has changed: It is still Forbidden in Master Duel and the OCG, it cannot be obtained in Master Duel (or even be generated), and no reprints have been announced for the OCG, or the inclusion of the card in some future pack in Master Duel. The OCG database also does not reflect this change yet, so for now, this change only applies in Master Duel…where you can’t play it even in casual Duels.
