Note: The Kanji (姫邪眼) reads as Princess Evil Eye, while Janome (蛇の目) refers to a bull’s eye pattern (often on an umbrella), and a bull’s eye resembles an eye.

Also it might be referencing the Antheraea Yamamai, known in Japan as the Himeyamamayu. i.e. The Japanese Oak Silk Moth.

Note: The Kanji (玄神憑月) reads as Mysterious Divinely Possessed Moon. The mysterious (玄) is also used in the Kanji for Genbu the Saint Beast of the North, a combined turtle and snake.

Kamitsukigame means “Snapping Turtle”. Also the first Kanji is used as a radical in 弦月 Gengetsu, i.e. Crescent Moon.
