“Shiranui” Special Feature: Synchro from the Graveyard!? Atack with Synchro Monsters by manipulating your Zombie-Type monsters that are banished or are in the Graveyard!

“Shiranui”, who first appear in “Breakers of Shadows” (which is currently on sale, and was released October 17th, 2015), are a new series of Zombie-Type monsters that fight using Synchro monsters, as well as manipulating your Zombie-Type monsters that are banished or in the Graveyard!

Their effects that trigger upon being banished or that return their allies to the Graveyard are powerful! And powerful monsters appear with strong effects, such as the ability to Synchro Summon from the Graveyard!!

Introducing the “Shiranui” Monsters!

On top of “Cursed Katana Shranui” being able to be used as a Tuner for a Synchro Summon, it has an effect that sorta-kinda Synchro Summons from the Graveyard, allowing you to Special Summon a Zombie-Type Synchro Monster from the Extra Deck! Also, the three other “Shiranui” monsters have effects that activated if they’re banished as well as one other additional effect, allowing you to pull off various combos!

[⇒ By using its ① effect, you can Special Summon cards like “Revived King Ha Des” that specify “Plaguespreader Zombie” as a Synchro Material! Also, the ② effect of “Ikusagami – Shiranui” (discussed later on) can return this banished card back to the Graveyard, allowing you to reuse its effect once more! ]

[⇒ This card doesn’t just add “Shiranui” monsters from the Deck to the hand, it’s also OK to add “Shiranui” Spells or Traps! By adding “Shiranui Style: Swallow Sword” to your hand, you can use its powerful effect to help create combos while controlling your opponent’s field! ]

[⇒ Not only can you use its ① effect for a Synchro Summon, but you can also use it to set up for an Xyz Summon! It’s also quite potent to use in a combo with “Shiranu Style: Swallow Sword” (discussed later on) which can banish this card from the Deck, thus allowing you to aggressively activate its ② effect! ]

Introducing the “Shiranui” Synchro Monsters!

The Level 6 “Katanagami – Shiranui” has two separate effects to dominate the monsters your opponent controls! Its ① effect can be used during your opponent’s turn, allowing you to return important cards back to the Deck, which in turn lets you set up for your next big move!

The Level 8 “Ikusagami – Shiranui”, if you banish “Katanagami – Shiranui” from the Graveyard with its ① effect, can make its own ATK 5500! Its ② effect is also powerful, allowing you to prepare your combos with your “Shiranui” cards and your Zombie-Type monsters, allowing you to get ready to strike back!

Introducing “Shiranui” Spell & Trap Cards!

“Shiranui Style: Reincarnation Formation” has an effect that lets you set up your combos with your “Shiranui” and Zombie-Types! It’s quite handy for preparing your counterattack, allowing to instantly wipe out your opponent’s monsters!

“Shiranui Style: Swallow Sword” has a powerful effect! Since the “Shiranui” card is banished from the Deck when this card resolves, you can arrange combos according to the circumstances! If the card you banish is “Chief Priest of Shiranui”, you can create a powerful combo that wipes out 3 on the field!

What kind of cards will you add to your Deck?

Use 0 DEF cards like “Uni-Zombie” and “Zombie Master” that have fantastic chemistry which have powerful effects that can allow you to create combos with Zombie-Types, as well as bring them out! Also, the effect of “Cursed Katana Shiranui” can Special Summon “Archfiend Zombie-Skull“, allowing for a nearly endless combos with relevant Zombie-Type related cards!
