In an upcoming update for Duel Links, the card Thor, Lord of the Aesir is getting a text update. Aside from polishing the text a little, the functional change is that its last effect, the one that inflicts 800 damage to your opponent upon successfully Special Summoning Thor via its own effect, is now optional to activate. As reported, the update will arrive sometime during next week.

This reflects the text update that the card received in the OCG in the Tournament Pack 2021 Vol. 4 released around October (between some nebulous activity or lack of it in Local events).
