Konami representatives announced today that Tomohiro Uesugi, former executive vice president of the Konami Digital Entertainment division, will be stepping up to become president of said division.

Konami Digital Entertainment serves as the Japanese video game development and publishing division of Konami proper, and is responsible for franchises like Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania andSilent Hill.
